Estate and succession planning is about more than just documents and dollars—it’s about people. Most family businesses don’t fail because of taxes or bad legal advice. They fail because no one planned for the human side: the tough conversations, the family dynamics, and the transition of leadership across generations. If you’re a business owner who wants your legacy to last, this course is for you.

From Legacy to Leadership gives you the insight, tools, and real-world examples you need to navigate the emotional complexity of passing down a family business. You’ll learn how to balance love and leadership, resolve role conflicts, prepare future leaders, and build the governance structures that keep your enterprise strong. Whether you’re in the early stages of planning or already in transition, this course will help you protect your relationships while preparing for the future.

You’ll also learn the power of tools like the Heirloom Scale™, how to foster engagement across generations, and why dynastic thinking is key to long-term success. This isn’t theory—it’s field-tested, lived experience from someone who’s been in your shoes.

Your guide through this process is Clint Bentz, a CPA and nationally recognized expert in family business transition planning. Clint is a second-generation family business owner himself, managing a 700-acre timber farm in Oregon with 17 family stakeholders. With over 40 years of experience advising farms, ranches, forestland owners, and small businesses, Clint brings wisdom, clarity, and compassion to one of the most important challenges your family will ever face.
